Lightning Netball Tournaments

The place to find out about all upcoming Netball Tournaments hosted by Loughborough Lightning!

Tournaments are based here on campus at Loughborough University. We run Junior, Mixed, Mens and Senior tournaments throughout the year.

Mixed Netball Tournament 9/06/24

Are you looking to prepare for nationals? Or just want to get involved with your club? Join us on the 9th June for our bigger and better, summer mixed tournament! The tournament will be played indoors and the cost will include an umpire! Suitable for age 16+

Venue

Sir David Wallace Sports Hall

Loughborough University, LE11 3TU

Time

Registration 0815am

Warm up 0830

Play commences 0900

Play should be finished by 5pm.

 

Format will be Groups with round robin play in the morning.  The afternoon will be regrouped with the winners of each group and the highest runner up going into the Cup group, and repeated with 2nd place etc for Trophy, Shield etc.

Levels

This Tournament is open to all levels of play, but please note groups will be streamed by results in the afternoon so the competition will be more even.

Parking is available in Car Park 9 and David Wallace is a short walk from there. (turn left out of the car park).  Please note that there is a charge for parking.

 

Senior Ladies Netball Tournament 16/6/24

Fancy some competitive netball before the Summer break? Join us on the 16th June for our first Senior Womens Netball tournament! The tournament will be played indoors. Suitable for Age 16+ Each team must provide an umpire

6th and 7th July 2024

Join Loughborough Lightning for our first Indoor Junior tournament. U10, U12, U14 and U16 category. You will need to provide an Umpire

6th July - U14/U16 Full day of netball.

Indoor match play at Sir David Wallace and The Netball Centre, Loughborough University

Round robin style with re groups in the afternoon for Cup/Plate etc

7th July - U10/U12 Full day of netball
